The Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland (CBOI) CBOI has toured to the United States many times...
and is the only amateur organization in Ireland’s history to have sold out Carnegie Hall, New York. The CBOI repeated this success at Chicago Symphony Hall, Boston Symphony Hall, the Lincoln Center New York, and in eight cities throughout California. The CBOI is received with enormous appreciation by our friends in the US. Each and every performance is packed to capacity with the orchestra receiving multiple standing ovations.
CBOI New York Outreach
The CBOI has done outreach work in with children for inner city and areas in Boston, Chicago and New York. The most challenging and rewarding outreach programme was presented in Harlem New York and was supported by New York Department of Education.
This outreach programme involved 3,500 children from New York city.
